This is my 7th year in a row staying at Gulfgate. Won't ever stay anywhere else if I can help it. Clean. Great service. Accommodating. Not too crowded. Great beach experience.

Another great family stay! The room is exactly as depicted in pictures. Room was very clean. Staff is friendly, check-in seamless, and amenities are exactly what we look for. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Gulfgate vacation rental! The unit was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with everything our family needed for a comfortable beach getaway. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, and being just steps from the sand made it so easy to enjoy the beach every day.

It was convenient chatting with the staff via text. Staff was helpful. They even went out their way to give my daughter Easter eggs when we were late to the hunt.

We will definitely return and highly recommend Gulfgate to anyone visiting Destin!

Wonderful, updated condo with a huge balcony right on the beach.
Everyone is so helpful. Love that it comes with a 2 chair and umbrella set up and a helper on the beach who sets everything up. The gym is adequate for keeping up your routine and was never real busy. Everything is kept clean and it is very quiet. We have returned here many times.
We love walking to the putt putt and fun arcade across the street and waking down the street for a yummy meal at the back porch.

Great condo. Outstanding view. Excellent staff. Everything we ever wanted in a vacation property. Convenient to everything. Stayed two years in a row as snowbirds and hope to continue for many more.

I appreciate the safety measures the complex has taken. To get on to the property, you must have codes for each entry. The fitness room was nicely equipped, the pool area and all shared restrooms was clean/well maintained. The condo was well equipped and nicely decorated. Great stay.

We stayed for Memorial Day. The unit is very nicely furnished and the location is great. I especially liked that there are no big condos nearby so the beach felt more private. The only downside is that all units have only two bedrooms.

Our condo was perfect for our little spring break getaway. The front desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go and I loved that it was gated and secure. Our condo was clean, well-stocked with basic kitchen essentials and enough towels and supplies for our 4 nights stay. The views of the water and white sand beach were breathtaking. We would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No problems or issues with our unit. Very well maintained property with friendly on-site maintenance employees. Our unit was well stocked with all the kitchen amenities we needed to cook and eat in our room. You do need to bring extra paper goods like toilet paper & paper towels as well as your own laundry detergent and washing detergent.
Beach access was perfect and we enjoyed a wonderful view from out unit. The pool and exercise building and restrooms were well maintained and easily accessible. We enjoyed walking to The Back Porch restaurant and coffee/ice cream place. Parking was fine, but might be difficult in summer months. Driving distance to restaurants, shopping outlets, and souvenir shops, and recreation areas was short.
Very lovely and convenient property that we have stayed in multiple times because it is only 10 stories so you do not have the issues associated with high rise condos like overcrowded elevators and beach front. 10/10.

We absolutely loved Destin Gulfgate, and Unit 205 was perfect!! It was our first time staying at Gulfgate, and the property, staff, and the amenities were the best. I felt safe, it was clean, we had a minor problem with a fan and the staff came immediately to resolve it. I also loved that an umbrella and two chairs came with the unit, and we had our on covered parking! We will most definitely stay at Destin Gulfgate from here on out, and hopefully in unit 205!

We have stayed at Gulfgate several times , & it is always wonderful. The staff is the friendliest staff in the business. The property is well maintained.
The pictures of the condos are accurate. It is a very safe place to stay & close to very good restaurants. The beach is beautiful, & the gym is very clean. I do not know anyone who does not love staying there.
The only complaint I have is that a few people smoke on the balconies which means I have to go inside until the smoke clears. Fortunately, most people do not smoke & are considerate of others.

We’ve been going to Gulfgate for many, many years. The condos are clean, renovated often and the Gulf view from the balconies is amazing. This was a nice unit. I would recommend a door for the master bath.

We will never go anywhere else! We (two adults three kids) were originally supposed to stay Sunday through Saturday and were lucky enough to stay an additional night. The condo was clean and had everything you could need. The beach was beautiful. Everything you need is within 5 minutes. I can't say enough good things. We are already planning our next stay.

This condo is right on the beach. Breathtaking views from the 30 foot balcony. Minutes away from shops and restaurants. Very clean! We will be back.

We absolutely loved our trip to Destin and our stay at Destin Gulfgate! The room was very clean and well decorated! The view from the living room/balcony is stunning! The kids loved playing in the heated pool or building sandcastles on the beach! The location was great... close to lots of good food options. I will very likely be coming back to Destin Gulfgate!

This is a great family vacation spot. The rental was clean, nicely decorated/equipped, and has wonderful views. The beach is really easy and fast to access, especially with little kids. We’ll be coming back soon, thanks.

We love Destin Gulfgate and everything about it. Have stayed here for over 20 years and I can't imagine staying anywhere else...

We love this place. Rooms are gorgeous and you can’t beat the location. There is even an ice machine in the room, perfect for filling up the ice chest before heading down. The complimentary beach set up is so convenient and Robby was great as well. Every day our chairs moved a little closer to the entrance, but that wasn’t even a big deal. Everyone gets a front row view, which is the way to go. Look to the left or right, and you will see umbrellas and chairs 4 to 5 rows deep. The beach was never crowded. The staff were so friendly. We were on the 3rd floor and I was initially concerned that it would be loud—but it absolutely wasn’t! We never heard any of our neighbors! I don’t have a single negative thing to say. Can’t wait to return!

We absolutely love Gulfgate- couple of suggestions: new pool chairs- they’re in bad shape. More rentals for the beach. Bummed there were only 2 kayaks and we couldn’t get one.

Unit: toaster burnt everything no matter the setting. Very cheap.
Master bed is awful. Our backs hurt every morning.
Master bath has mold and ceiling is bubbling and has mold.
Dryer is old and cheap.

We wouldn’t rent this unit again. For what you pay, appliances should be of better quality. Even cooking supplies were lacking. (1 small, odd spatula.)

Overall I couldn't be more pleased (again) with our experience at Gulfgate. Check-in was easy, even though we weren't able to get back before the office closed everything was clean and well-stocked, and as always the beachfront was spectacular. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to return.

Third year staying in this beautiful condo at Destin Gulfgate and hope to be able to reserve for many years to come! Clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable; new chairs in living room added to increase seating and match existing decor very well. Ice maker in bar not working upon arrival but one in fridge was adequate; parts ordered by staff but had not been fixed before we left. Dryer did not always heat up properly, again issue addressed by staff.

Would highly recommend this unit and property. As usual, staff was very professional and accommodating!

Despite the weather being on the cool side we had a very enjoyable 3 week stay in unit 205. We found the condo to be very homey and comfortable. It is nicely furnished and well appointed. We have stayed in this condo several times and are looking forward to hopefully,booking again in February 2022 for 3 weeks. We would like to acknowledge the maintenance and front desk staff for finding and returning my wife's gold necklace after our departure.

This was our first time staying at Destin Gulfgate. We absolutely loved it! The condo was perfect, the view can't be beat, the grounds were clean, and it was quiet and peaceful. The only downside from our trip is that I was given the impression through e-mail that the pool would be heated, and it wasn't until we were leaving. Had it been heated, we would have zero complaints. It was definitely one of our best stays in the area. We made some wonderful holiday memories.
