Are you ready to book the perfect Florida getaway but have some questions about your stay? Check out Destin Gulfgate's frequently asked questions. 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Daily and weekly reservations that are cancelled, delayed, or changed outside of 60 days of your scheduled arrival will result in a $50.00 processing fee.  Cancellations within 60 days of your arrival will result in the loss of ALL payments and deposits already paid.  Call for monthly reservation cancellation policy.  Travel insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ALL reservations. 


 

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to bring pets on the property. 


 Do you offer monthly reservations?

Yes, we do offer monthly reservations from December until March 15. You aren’t able to book monthly reservations online. Please give our team a call directly at (888) 234-4853. 


 What amenities do you offer?

We offer a well-equipped exercise facility, outdoor patio areas with tables and chairs, and of course, a pool for relaxing or cooling off. We also offer complimentary beach set-ups for all our rental guests! On top of those, our condos are fully furnished and each has a 30-foot balcony overlooking the Gulf.  Where are you located?

We are located in Destin, Florida! Our address is 1180 Scenic Highway 98, Destin, FL 32541! We are across the street from The Track.


 Do you offer an in-unit washer and dryer?

Each unit’s dedicated laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer. 


 Do you replenish soap and towels each day?

No.  All rentals are provided with ample linen and towels.  Additionally, we provide the initial set up of: toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), boxed tissue, paper towels, bathroom bar soap, dishwasher detergent, washing machine soap, and fabric softener, 2 packs of coffee, kitchen dish soap, sponge, kitchen garbage bags (2), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc.  After that, it is provided on your own.


 What time can we check-in? Are we able to go down to the beach early on the day of check-in?

Check-in time is between 4:00-5:00 PM. However, you are more than welcome to come by the front desk and check-in with us when you get into town. Whenever your unit is available, we will send you a text or call to let you know. You’re more than welcome to use the beach and/or pool while you wait!


 Are we allowed to bring our own beach chairs and beach umbrellas to use on the property? 

Yes. Our beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary during your stay, however, if you would like to set up your own you may do so as long as it is BEHIND our chairs and umbrellas.  Please ensure you take down and remove any personal belongings.  The City of Destin does not allow items to be left on the beach overnight and they will be disposed of.  


 Are we allowed to have friends come and hang out with us at the beach area there?

We do allow one guest per person in the unit. Please stop at the front desk to obtain a day parking pass.  We just ask that you be considerate with friends joining you, in spaces such as the pool area and beach, to allow our guests to enjoy their stay.


 Do you have a heated pool?

Yes! You can view pictures of our pool here ---> CLICK HERE.  The pool is heated seasonally for the months of October and November (if needed) and again from Christmas until Spring.


 Do you provide kitchen supplies?

Yes, each unit comes fully equipped along with a full-sized fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Additionally, each condo has all the conveniences of a home with toasters, blenders, can openers, etc.  You are also more than welcome to bring any of your supplies as well. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!


 What restaurants are close by?

We have some fantastic restaurants all within walking distance: The Back Porch, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Joe’s Crab Shack, Mary’s Kitchen, and Merlins Pizza. All within a mile of our property: Lone Wolf Pizza, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Pancakery, Cafe Destin, Cracklings, The Local Market, and Island Wing Company! Hope this helps!  What attractions are close by?

We are surrounded by some of the best attractions in Destin - aside from the beach! Across the street from our property is a fun place called “The Track” with go-karts, bumper boats, and more. A little further down the road is Big Kahunas! With over 40 water rides, there is something for the whole family. They also have a really fun mini-golf course with a great view of the Gulf Coast.  Do you have 24-hour staff on the property?

No. We are staffed seven days a week from mid-March through November. Our hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sundays.  In the off-season, our hours are Monday – Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The desk is closed during off-season.
